Our Mission
IDS intends to substantially reduce the number of fatalities, injuries, and economic loss caused
by teen drivers.Our approach is based on the premises that:
(1) teens in many states are licensed at too young of an
age and that
(2) they are not fully trained to drive safely. As a result, IDS works to:
- Provide public information and advocacy for effective Graduated Driver Licensing legislation.
- Research and advocate advanced training programs for new drivers that provides extensive behind-the-wheel experience
